Well everyone....
Since my start 2 weeks ago, I have lost 6 pounds and 8 3/4 inches total! I guess that's an okay start. I have decided to change up my workout here and there. I am going to start going to Estep, a gym on Ft Campbell, a few times a week and my friend Andrea, is going to be my work out buddy.
So far, I've been switching off between running a half mile, then walking a half mile and doing some plyos with Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred.
Tonight, I splurged a little and had some ice cream, but I know not to deprive myself totally. Plus, I believe it's that time of the month coming up....I'm 3 weeks late, and no I'm not pregnant...well atleast according to the test I took about a week ago and Monday. I have been having some trouble with my lady parts the past few months. I hope it's nothing.
Anyways, to answer a few of you all's questions, my total weight goal is 40 pounds. Yeah it sounds like a lot, but that's my long term goal. I'd like to get 20 off quickly and go from there. Inch wise, I'm not sure what a goal is...just to be slimmer is all!

Congrats! And 40 pounds it totally realistic! It might take awhile, but you can do it! Just take it day by day.
ReplyDeleteOh, and splurging sometimes is a GOOD thing. When I first started losing weight, I was too strict on myself and was feeling deprived all the time. So, I now treat myself to a hearty meal (lol) and a dessert (usually ice cream, too--it's my favorite!) at least one day a week. It gives you something to look forward to. :)
